NYC HANDYMAN is a Division of EZFII LLC. We are a full Functional construction company that can provide all types of basic to complex construction remodeling, addition, reconstruction and planning along with our on site project managers to see that every project is completed correctly while staying on schedule. When issues arise that are out of our normal line of services we have dozens of professional subcontractors from Electricians to Plumbers who are all state certified and maintain a high rating with all business councils.

 Hello Everyone, my name is Christopher Purnell, and I am the President & Founder of both EZ Furniture Assembly & Interior Innovations as well as New York City Handyman. I built EZ Furniture Assembly with little more than a dream and a passion to provide the best possible service to each and every client. During our first year of operation I began to take note of my own personal experiences where our clients would ask if we knew a trustworthy company to do such things as cleaning, painting, pressure washing, bathtub reglazing, Childproofing, and many other services. At that time I began to compile a list of Honest, Professional, and Quality driven companies who I could refer to our clients. However, that being my first year in the Professional Assembly & Installation business I wasn't aware of how business would be one month from the next, and since this type of unique service was limited the research we conducted proved fruitless. However, in the later part of that year I became fully aware that my new business was seasonal and watched as our rapidly growing business came to a screaming halt. We were still being contacted by our clients, but not for assembly service but rather a referral for some sort of handyman service. That is when it became clear to me that I was freely giving away work to other companies while myself and my staff had little if any work. That is when I decided to create and establish NYC HANDYMAN. Our clients weren't calling us for referrals because they didn't have a phone book, they trusted our company and new that we would only provide them with a referral to an upstanding company like ours.  I knew that all of our technicians had a minimum of 5 years experience in some sort of Construction, Home Improvement, Furniture Assembly, or Handyman service. In a matter of a few months we were back to a full schedule and our gross revenue exceeded all previous months. Nevertheless, I always made certain we provided the best possible workmanship and customer service to ensure we maintained that level of trust and wanted NYC HANDYMAN to be more than the run of the mill handyman service. I wanted us to be #1, thus providing a One Stop company that not only provided the everyday tasks expected of a handyman, but also provide unique services such as Childproofing, Home/Business Inventory, Bed Bug Removal, Bathtub Reglazing, and our list continues to grow.

This might be a retired carpenter or someone with a blue collar job who liked to do things on the side. These handymen were willing to work for little more than wages and could usually handle all the work around the house.

6. The do-it-yourself market is plummeting. The average American family has only 16 hours a week of leisure time, so they don't have time for such work. In any case, with husband and wife working, trying to handle household duties and child care, there is just no time for minor repairs, much less for larger remodeling projects. The American family's time is almost more important than money.

7.About 75% or more of Americans are white-collar, information type workers.

They not only does not have the time, but do not have the skills to do remodeling projects. If you have not been brought up working with your hands, and you don't have time to learn the skills, it is very difficult to undertake a project.

* Please Note that NY State and NYC Law requires that ALL A/C units above the 1st story be supported by a Mounting Bracket in which is drilled into the window sill & then the building. There is an Additional $20.00 charge for each bracket we install due to the work and time involved in installing these brackets correctly. Our Technicians must drill through the stone/concrete of the window sill then the buildings facade which is likely brick and requires a special drill bit which is costly and only lasts about 3-4 installations. This is not us, it is the Law. We will NOT install any units above 1st story without correct support brackets. If anybody tells you different they are lying and you will be the one responsible if the unit falls and hits someone. It is better to do your homework and hire a professional.
